Update: I would like to thank Tyler and his crew for a great second experience. I was quickly contacted after my last review and they gave me a second chance to have a better experience. The food was delicious and service was great. I do wish the 10oz steak they offer was on some sort of menu, it is definitely worth it! Overall, just OK, a typical big chain experience I suppose. Once seated, we were not informed of specials, at least I overheard the table next to us getting informed of them. I had the Mini Stuffed Yorkshire Puddings as a starter. Their flavour was mediocre, but worse was they were warm if not borderline cold. Although, not this location’s fault, as they are a chain, what kind of self respecting restaurant doesn’t offer a decent steak like a 10oz. NY strip? A sad 6oz. Steak sandwich is all they have, disappointing at best for this red blooded dude. The Beef Dip I had for a main was flavourless like the yorkies. I probably won’t ever go back any time soon if ever.
Ecellent quick service from attentive waitress (Ashley). This was my first visit. Food was good. I had ACE cheese burger which had potato flour bun which I found a bit gummy to eat. I had coffee but must return to try the excellent selection of beverages on tap.
This evening, I was passing through Saskatchewan coming out from Calgary. Was feeling pretty hungry from the drive and came across this restaurant by chance. I must say, I was very impressed with the food and excellent level of service. My server was Jacob - I had a difficult order and he did everything he could to accommodate my dietary needs. Was very impressed at the great level of service! I also saw all the staff helping each other out and good team work skills. Finally, mentioning that the food was super delicious. Next time I pass through Swift Current, I’ll be stopping by Original Joes in Swift Current. Thank you guys. Wishing you well.
The food and drinks were awesome. We had chicken wings, chipotle chicken quesadilla, teriyaki rice bowl and buffalo chicken wrap and all were just fabulous. We asked for spicy dip and the waitress was so friendly and gave us 3 buffalo dips with different spice level. We also had west side story and time out. Those were amazing drinks. Had a great experience. Good customer service. Will visit soon.
Absolutely amazing place. Never disappoints. Food is always fast, hot and super tasty. Half the time the servers know our order as soon as we sit down and our favourite table, etc as we frequent there regularly. It’s so pleasant as so many experiences lately at other places are subpar. We love Cooper!
Really surprised by the quality of food, very good pub food. The server tonight is bar none the best server I have encountered in years, super quick to bring us add ons, cleared plates quickly and unobtrusively, filled water glasses without interrupting conversation. Really a great dinner experience to set us up for the last stretch of our 16 hour drive
Our crew was in town to wrestle and we stopped by for a bite to eat before the event. The server was great, food was fantastic, and the manager stopped by to chat and ensure our visit was going well. Great restaurant - can’t wait to be back!
My husband and I are driving through to Alberta from Winnipeg. Stopped for the night and decided to grab dinner at Original Joe’s. The food was superb and the service was fast and friendly. I had the Pacific Rim noodle soup - it was very tasty! My husband had the stake sandwich which was perfectly prepared at medium rare. It was a nice surprise to be having such a delicious meal in a small town. We will definitely be back in our way home.
